Help Un-merged browser

Lurker
When I first got my Galaxy S6 in December, I tried out a bunch if different web browsers and finally settled on Google Chrome because it was the only one where the tabs were actually separate apps rather than just a list in a single app. Recently Chrome switched to the merged tabs way, and I hate it. It seems Chrome used to have an option for this, but now it's no longer there. Is there a browser out there that does tabs the right way? I don't like how closing the app closes all the tabs.

Hi
Yes they have removed the option. See this article http://www.androidcentral.com/chrome-android-stops-merging-apps-and-tabs-default. I think most people think the new way (which is in fact the original way used by most browser as well as chrome) makes more sense. It now works the same way as browsers on a PC. If you close the browser you do not see the separate tabs in the recent apps list. But if you open chrome again, the tabs will still be there (until you deliberately close them)

You could use an older version of the Chrome browser & not update it:
