Help Unable to access Camera settings

Eecomp

Lurker
As part of downsizing at age 89.3 I am slowly selling off DSLRs and purchased Galaxy s5 to have a pocketable camera that I can carry with me most of the time. I like to shoot events in the community where I enjoy Independent Living with two cameras and edit them up into a semi-professional looking video. Current problem is I can't access the camera settings. When I follow the instructions given everywhere I get two silly amateur option boxes/icons on the left side offering to colorize my pictures or to run on "Auto". I am desperate to set the ridiculously low default camera ISO and also ensure that the image stabilization is "ON"
I am a newbie to smart phones. Thanks

Problem half solved. The Galaxy s5 was in the "Easy" mode and needed to be put in the "Standard" mode but still no ISO or Image stabilization. I suspect that is hidden behind the "Auto" setting. So far I have not been able to change it. Any hints?

Settings for the camera vary according to the Mode selected. For instance, in Auto Mode, I have ISO greyed out but in, say, Beauty Face, ISO is available. Extra Modes can be downloaded and managed in Modes.
