Help Unable to Add or Remove Mini Apps

I am unable to edit the mini apps at the bottom when I tap the up arrow and then tap the Edit button.
After tapping the Edit button there are no other buttons and long pressing brings no other menu up.
Any ideas what this Edit button does.
Doesn't seem do anything on my tablet.

There are only a very limited number of mini apps available on the 7". When you press Edit the mini apps gallery (seven total?) will pop up and any that you haven't already selected will be highlighted. Touch it and it will be added to your bar.

I'd just as soon they eliminate it completely.

I was trying to find a way to remove items.
Oh well.
I'll just live with it.

Well, as AnciusD said. Go to edit, there you can add and remove items. Tap on them to remove them.
