Root Unable to boot into CWM!

I have tried everything i can to boot into CWM. tried booting froom quickboot, from ROM Manager. Everytie it shows picture of a green android and a box with a loading screen and boots normally. ALso tried Vol Down+Power. But it instead asked me to do a factory reset. I installed NumberTwoRom, and had looping problem where i couldnt boot. Applied delooper fix, and i was able to get phone started, but ever since im unable to boot into CWM. Help please, i have no recovery or backup! i know others are having the same problem. THanks alot,
-Nick.

First, what firmware are you using? The procedure to flash cwm is relative to whether you are on VV5 or some other build.

Next;
A - adb reboot recovery, B - If you're sure you have flashed cwm recovery vol down+power --> confirm factory reset(this will not cause problems like 'factory reset' from the settings menu) will boot you into cwm recovery mode.

Lastly, it seems like the de-looper has wiped the recovery partition, try flashing cwm again or possibly set cwm to use an already installed recovery in the app settings.

Hi Dustin kind sir, I am having the same problem.

You said,.... " you're sure you have flashed cwm recovery vol down+power --> confirm factory reset(this will not cause problems like 'factoryreset' from the settings menu) will boot you into cwm recovery mode."

But I have tried this very thing,..., and it DID "factory reset" my phone, minus tbe bloat I unistalled. At least it wasn't the bootlooping. LOL. But now my phones ID has changed according to Titanium Backup which may cause more problems.

I'm wondering how to get cwm or rom manager to behave, so I could get into recovery and get my backup.

Would be very interested in the results with Nick.

I'm sorry, but I am clueless about the id issue. I'd have to say if it isn't causing a problem, don't worry about it. As for booting into recovery with the hard keys, that's how it's done. I've done it a thousand times. I did it right before I responded just to be sure. All I can say is that cwm probably wasn't flashed properly. Your safest bet for getting into recovery is rebooting into it through rom manager..... if you're not familiar with adb that is.
