Unable to connect headset

Hello everyone. I got a Samsung HM3100 bluetooth headset, it works perfectly on my LG Optimus Black but my Samsung Galaxy I9003 can't find the headset when i search for it. Can someone tell me why it is working on LG, which is a different brand than the headset but on my Galaxy doesn't work???

I haven't paired a headset lately, but you have to put both the phone and the headset in discovery mode. And it can only be paired with one thing at a time.

From the manual ...

Pairing and connecting the headset with a phone

  1. Enter Pairing mode.
    • Power off the headset. Press and hold the Multi-Function button for 8 seconds until the blue indicator light stays lit.
    • If you turn on the headset for the first time, it proceeds into Pairing mode immediately.
  2. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone and search for the headset (see your phone

I have the manual, done exactly what it says, but why I can't find the headset? It is possible that it isn't compatible with Samsung I9003 ??

I wouldn't think there's be a compatibility issue. They are both fairly recent Samsung devices. When you go to menu>settings>wireless and networks>bluetooth settings, do you see any other devices paired?

After the scan it shows me all the bluetooth devices around me but it doesn't find the headset
