Help Unable to locate SIM card

Hi all

For no apparent reason, and completely out if the blue my phone tells me it can't locate my sim card and gives me two options - shutdown or restart (even though I have a full mobile signal)

It seems to happening more and more recently and free doesn't seem to be a pattern to it either (eg after closing a particular app)

It's starting to get annoying now and with 12 months still left to run on my contract its not as if I can change the phone anytime soon.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this ? I have taken sim out and cleaned it etc but nope.

It sounds like the connectors aren't quite touching the sim card (or at least I've heard of that happening before). Know it may sound daft, but try putting a bit of thin card behind it, to make sure it connects and let us know if that solves the issue

I was pretty sure that I'd read that as a solution somewhere - thanks for confirmation... let's just hope that it also sorts jugglerbry
