Help Unable to register on network

Hi folks. New to the forums here. I have made the switch from iphone back to android. I have a S3 running 4.3 i747M model. The phone is unlocked from it's original carrier>Telus. My new carrier is Eastlink, which is in partner with Rogers and Bell for roaming purposes. When I insert the new sim, it will not register on the Eastlink network. They have sent the APN settings but still will not register. It is in the list of networks, however the phone will work when roaming on the Rogers network and make or receive call that way. I can also take the sim card out of my iphone (koodo) and it will work right away in the S3. Anyone able to help me out on this? Thanks

I'm not too sure on this at all but you may want to contact the carrier you have it on now and have them walk you through some sort of manual programming to get the phone working correctly on their network.

I was able to get it working. After a lot of thought, and the phone being able to work on other networks, except for my new carrier, which has all new towers, I had to enable AWS 1700 using this tute,,,

This really saved me alot of $$ as I bought 2 of these phones and had them unlocked.
