Help Unable To Remove Phone Number From Phone

I want to sell my old phone, a Droid 1 of course, but my current number is still showing in the Settings>About>Status>My phone number menu.

I transferred this same number and it is now activated on my LG Spectrum (through the same carrier, Verizon), so you see I can't sell this phone with this number still in the memory/info/whatever.

I am rooted running Steel Droid v10.5. I have tried multiple factory reset/del cache/del dalvik but the phone number remains. I have tried making a call from this phone and got an error message about it not being activated. Wiped/del/flashed Steel droid again but the number remains. I have noticed that when I clear dalvik in CWM, no text verification appears to confirm that it was completed. I have also tried privacy/factory reset but the number remains.

Is there some kind of "hard reset" I can do?

Thanks!

i believe once the phone is activated again with a new number it will change over on its own.

But when I start it up it doesn't say "Your phone needs to be activated" like it should. Plus, I don't want any buyers having my phone number.
