Help Unable to send MMS texts

I have been sitting here for about 30 minutes trying to trouble shoot:

The issue: unable to send MMS picture from S3 to iphone.

I've tried toggling WIFI on/off. Tried restarting. The picture appears as if it is sent on the galaxy, but is never received on the iphone.

It has worked in the past, but this is really bugging me. Any help is appreciated.

MMS works only via your mobile carrier, First;
Make sure mobile date is turned on – Flick down your notifications tab make sure mobile data is highlighted in green: D
Make sure you have a mms data allowance – Either ring your provider or check online: D

Ah, in my case it's probably due to a poor signal then. Data is turned on. I haven't been getting a very good signal lately with Verizon.

Something else you might want to keep in mind:

Here in Sydney, when I quit my iPhone and got the S3, I quit my old carrier and went to Virgin Mobile as my new carrier.

One thing they didnt tell me was that when sending international MMS texts, only certain carriers (partnered with Virgin Mobile) will accept the MMS message.

In my case when I send MMS to New Zealand, only one carrier will honor my MMS texts.

Locally (within Australia) it all works ok, but I'm still spewing they didnt make this clear when I signed up on a 2 year contract.

The outcome means that MMS to outside Australia just gives me an error message: "Failed" when sending MMS internationally.

Lesson learnt !
