Help Unable to sign into Google services

I recently did a factory reset on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Now, whenever I try to sign into any of the Google services such as the Play Store or Youtube it says the following... Please help.

Your WiFi router was up the creek, was it?

No, I just did some research on Youtube... i had to edit a file that can only be accessed by root explorer. Its all good.
