Unable to turn off haptic feedback after 4.1.2 upgrade galaxy S3

Hi
I upgraded my S3 i9300 recently to the official 4.1.2 rom. All went smoothly however there is one problem i can't seem to fix. I cannot turn off the haptic feedback on the keyboard. I have disabled the setting and reduced haptic vibration to 0 but it still won't turn off.
All keyboard touches result in a small vibration regardless of what keyboard im using.
Would anyone have any ideas how to sort this problem out. Its doing my head in. All other functions are working perfectly.
Thanks in advance.

Samsung galaxy s3 i9300 running 4.1.2.

Welcome StarSailor:)
Thanks for joining and it looks like Eyebeam's got you linked to your forum...
Try rebooting the phone after you changed the settings?
Or pull the battery, if possible, wait a minute, then reinsert and power up again.
Not familiar with that device, but it's worth a try and go to the link.
:D

Unless you are loyal to the stock keyboard, you could go with a 3rd party keyboard like swift key 3 (what I'm currently using and my favorite)

Welcome to AF! Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Ive actually tried using a few keyboards with no luck. Ive changed the settings, rebooted, did battery pulls. Nothing will turn of the key vibration. I don't want to restore yet as i believe some clever lad here will know how to sort this out. :-)

Hey guys. I sorted out the problem by reinstalling the rom 4.1.2.
I still can't figure out why or how the problem was created.
Bit of strange little glitch.
Thx
Stephen.
