Unable to unlock my Galaxy S3

Hi, I was just trying out the Android Device Manager's Lock feature, and now, I'm unable to unlock my device. When I tap on the LOCKED button nothing happens. There's no PIN/password box for me to authenticate the unlock. Any help would be much appreciated.

P.S.
When I initially gave the command to lock my device, I got this message:
Your new password was not strong enough. Your device has the following password requirements:
NaN - 16 characters long

I don't know what that even means. :o
Anyway, even with that message, the command went through and my phone got locked.

Does anyone know if ADM has a default password?
Ive never even played with it but have you tried your gmail password?

Welcome to the forums! :D Glad you signed up. I attempted to answer the first post you asked over in guest questions.

Since this isn't device specific, this is in the best place to get you answers quickly.

Have you tried unlocking the device from the web based version of android device manager?

Thanks Rxpert83. Thanks you two for the help. I figured it out. It's so trivial that it's not worth mentioning how I did it. :)

Not only does Thom want to know, lol, but for sure down the line someone will have the same exact problem and appreciate the solution!! You also never know how things like this can give a "clue" to solving similar problems! Plus we are all curious now, so please let us know how you did it, lol.

Well... When you log into the web-based ADM and click on the Lock button your phone will be locked (with a password and recovery msg that you specify) within a few seconds, given that your phone is connected to the internet. Then, the only info that will be displayed on your phone screen are: the notification bar, recovery msg, a padlock symbol along with the message: "Locked", and the emergency call button. So, I was tapping around the screen to open up the box where I can type in my password. But, nothing except the emergency call button worked. There was no option to unlock the phone over the web-based ADM either. Then, I tried all but one of the buttons outside the display screen and that one turned out to be the solution. Lol. The "Back" button. I mean c'mon!! Who in their right mind would try that out. Anyway, there it is, as requested. I thought I'll be as detailed as possible so as to help anyone who may encounter the same issue. I doubt anyone would though. :)

Hardly "hardly worth mentioning" lol. As everyone has pointed out, THIS will be useful to a lot of 'Googlers" in the future for sure! Thanks for posting the solution!!!
