Help Unable to use "swipe" function

I have the swipe function turned on but as I try to use it, it doesn't work. It just shows the last letter I touched. Is there anything I should be doing. Is there anywhere on here or online that could tell/show me how to check to see if it's activated correctly.

It comes with the phone. Are you dragging your finger across each letter like you should be?

Go to settings -> Input and locale -> Swype. There's a tutorial there.

Thanks for that, all sorted now. For some reason the correct keyboard wasn't activating when I requested it. Thanks again guys.
