Help Unable to write to internal phone memory

Hello,
I am using galaxy grand2 damsung model with android 4.4.2

I had connected my phone to Windows 10 and Mint 18 Linux by USB cable. I transferred files from phome to pc. But while transferring the cable moved sometimes.

After this I am not able to write anything to my internal phone memory. I have installed supersu and titanium backup is working properly on my device
 
"damsung“? Is that a just typo or actually a knock-off Samsung you've got there. Because if it's the latter, read only storage might be due to the internal storage has collapsed, possibly from poor manufacturing quality.

Sorry it is a typo . I meant Samsung
 
some of the folders on the phone's internal memory are read only to a PC, in fact, most of them are, and most will say "empty" as the PC does not even have permission to see the files.

Downloads and Pictures and RingTones as I recall can be written to from a PC

I cant create a folder under whatsap. I had moved the media folder to the sd card ,now I not able to create any folder in whatsap .Is ot mounted as read only file system now?

I sucessfully backed up all user and sys aps using titanium just now.

I was able to restore the Titanium backup to my memory card. That means I can write to my memory card. But none of the media is getting restored.The error is download failed . Try later.

Let me rephrase my problem.
I do not want to download anything on my pc from the Android phone. On my Android phone , the whatsap attachments like images etc can not be downloaded. Only the whatsap text message gets downloaded on my phone

Looks like this type of error hasnt happened so far or the experts are too busy.
 
I don't use WhatsApp so the only thing I can think of , if it's not a setting in the app itself, would be to email the app developer.
Should be able to get the email address from the Play Store.

There is some other problem too. This is related to Android only.
I wasnt able to delete the file /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.docs/files/pinned_docs_files_do_not_edit/2cac0d5f4c28fde04c840dbcba9a755a/Android - Tips, Tricks, Apps & Hacks (Volume 9) -CPUL-.rar. There seems to be some permissions issue on the phone memory.
 
I cant move any app data files like video files from my phone memory folde1 to
phone memory folder2
I can move files on my sd card from one folder to another though.
I have been able to connect phone to my lapptop using adb shell
 
Kit Kat (Android 4.4.x) has very restrictive permissions so it's no surprise that your file app can't copy files from one folder to another. The way it works (or is supposed to) is that any folders created by an app will only have read/write permissions from the system or that app. Any other app has read-only permissions.

Did you recently update your version of Android?
 
I am also not able to delete anything from the Downloads folder on sdcard0 , while I can delete files from DOwnload folder on Ext sd

Following is adb session with my phone


shell@ms013g:/storage/emulated/legacy/Download $ rm 2016-September.txt.gz
rm failed for 2016-September.txt.gz, Permission denied

Please let me know if you require anything else.
