Undecided between ZTE Warp & LG Marquee

Hey everyone im having a problem making a decision between the Zte Warp and the Lg Marquee. I have been seeing that the zte warp is alot more responsive and faster but i been reading that there is nothing but problems with it, due to constant freezing and rebooting and an issue with the internal mic and the volume is terrible on all points. Now for the Lg Marquee i have heard the only problem with it is the Lg Marquee is Battery Life but im sure theres an app that can help that and its a tad laggy but is that the only issues with the phone. Please give me your opinions with both phones and if you have them please give me the pros and cons because im looking to purchase either one Wednesday.

I have not seen the marquee hands on. But the warp for me has been perfect. Fast all the way around. No prop like the few other people. Best phone for me

I second this. even though I have had a few problems with the phone like the occasional lockup, I still love it. Honesty all phones have their problems and I'm sure people experience lockups from time to time on any phone. The plus side with the marquee is that there is and will be way more accessories for it since it is more of a name brand.

My ZTE Warp is working very well, rooted, installed 373 apps, customized by GoLauncherEx, Go Contacts, Google Voice, etc, lot of apps but very fast and stable.
I think you should get a warrant so can replace phone if have no luck at first time, because some people got a crappy one rebooting, freezing, ..., but when you get a good one then you have a fast and reliable one.

Yeah thanks guys but im think im going to go with the marquee to save my self the headache bc its a fifty fifty shot that im going to get a phone with no problems and if i do get a phone with problems dont want to have to go through all the bs and i havent seen on issue with the Marquee and plenty with the warp.

Well Mr. Undecided i have a Zte Warp and i have had it for about 2.5 weeks and i really love it, i read somewhere the zte is just as good as the marquee and that it's not worth paying an extra 80 bucks or so to get the marquee, as someone talked about accessories for the warp are limited but that's because the phone is quite new,but sprint has alot of zte brand phones. All in all it's your decision but you will not be disappointed with zte i feel. goodluck:)

I have had the Warp for about 1 week now. I love it. Mine works awesome. I coulnd see paying $80.00 more for a smaller screen. (don't care about front camera) and Iwas happy with the camera on my prevail, which even with the flash there close in quality, id dare say the prevail is better less the flash.

I just seen the marquee today, its pretty thin and sleek. But the screen seems sooooooo much smaller

If it were possible to get both phones for pretty much the same price, which phone would ppl purchase??

If I could get both for the same price id get the marquee, that's Because it's so much thinner and the front camera. I've played with one and liked it, but the warp is a lot faster and has a way bigger screen!

There's only two enticing things about the Marquee.com

1. The cameras - I bet the back camera doesn't bleach out every picture you take with its flash. And it has a front camera.

2. The screen's...brightness. It is notoriously bright while the Warp is notoriously dim.

Everything else looks like it's in the Warp's favor - slightly better success at developing, looks like (correct me if I'm wrong), a larger screen, much more internal memory, a lower price.

My biggest thing with the warp is this damn rebooting, I've rebooted about six times in the past four hours. IM to the point IM either running it over or throwing it in the Red river. I hate the camera but I can deal with it.

Good point, but how reliable is the Marquee really? Although, I don't think there are many phones less reliable than the Warp, given how many times it reboots for me, even though I keep mine off for most of the day...

If you have not sent in your Warp for a new one yet you seriously need too. Mine has forced rebooted once in almost 6 months. The Warp has some issues but force rebooting should not be one of them.

Agree I don't understand why people complain day after day about the same problem. Its a fact that there are some phones from a bad batch out yet they continue to complain instead of returning it for a new one I swear they just enjoy the negative.

Thats my thing with the Marquee, it has its own set of problems and i dont know if Ill be jumping from the pot into the pan. Dealing with the warp issues are making just want to go buy a flip phone and never use a smartphone again.....well kinda:rolleyes:

Im debating sending it in, i just dont know if the problems with the warp are fixable per se. i dont want to waste my time if the one they send back has the same issues or they dont completely fix the issues with my phone. then im just to lazy to go all the way to the post office etc:p

in my case gas prices are high and Im tired of going back and forth to the place of purchase to return the warp once again. True i have the option to get another device, but im unsure of what to get or stay with the warp. also i like to get advice from others, and thier or some ppl that dont mind answering the questions and helping others...

1. For SCIENCE!
2. I did replace it already, in a real life store. I'd rather not do so indefinitely.
3. You're rather rude.
4. The poster above me makes a very valid point.

1. Science that is funny! It is true you learn more about your phone if it is working bad than when it is working good.

2. Yes apparently there are enough bad phones floating around to make returning your phone somewhat of a gamble. However, it is not only possible but realistic to have a Warp phone that works well. Minus its weird quirks such as the flashlight, having the shakes when it is charging, etc

3. Do not believe this was directed at me so enough said :)

4. Yes he does and I can relate to not wanting to have to go back and forth to the post office as well. By the way this community will continue to try to help those suffering with these issues as that is what we are here for after all but it would also have been silly not to let people know that there are good working Warps and that a functional phone exist in reality. Good fortune with your phones!

Poor terminology on my part....when it is plugged in and charging the touch part of the screen does not respond well. It often gyrates when I try to slide or move something or flip a page and then the screen starts to shake. I have to be very precise or usually just unplug it to get the phone to behave properly. Not a big deal for me as I hate to use my phone when it is plugged into the charging cord anyway.

Your problem sounds like my touchscreen problem... maybe we should submit a joint request to ZTE about it. (Except I see the issues more often because I use a sliding keyboard, Swype.)

Well I studied both phoned before I bought my warp. Despite all the problems people say they have I still bought it. The deal makers where larger screen and the cheaper price. I love how fast and snappy this phones what I don't like is the screen is kinda dull, the camera doesn't take good pictures and the flash makes things worse the phone freezes alot and reboots itself randomly. Some times when I want to change something, like my keyboard or brightness setting or airplane mode I have to shut phone on the screen I makeing the change on or it wont take. There's also the randomly opening up apps on its own. The Marquis screen is really not that much smaller and its screen looks so much better and the camera is also a lot better. I can't wait to dump this phone and upgrade. Bottom line its a $200 phone its qlitchy low quality and is poorly made ZTE and Boost should have properly tested this thing before releasing it. My Prevail is so much better quality. I will never ever buy a ZTE piece of electronics again.

my warp dosent white out the pictures it only freezes when i have like 20 things in my notification bar and when it does freeze wait a min or to and it un freezes

my brightmess seems to brite sometimes i put it on auto now works flawlessly
