Bon Scott era AC/DC... no, sorry, Back in Black is not their best album

Gasp! Thats blasphemy! haha jk! Not many people know that there was another singer besides Brian, let alone know about the one before Bon.

I myself cannot name in my opinion their best album, but the album that put them in the charts really was Highway to Hell.. Sad to say but I really think Bon's death would have gone much more unnoticed if it were not for that album, then AC/DC would not have had their record shattering success with Back in Black.

it seems a lot of the older bands are becoming a bit underappreciated now.. such a shame

New York Dolls - no NYD's, possibly no Ramones
Rockpile - Dave Edmunds & Nick Lowe - awsome songwriters - only 1 album
Mott - 70's glitter rock at it's best
T Rex - Marc Bolan led the trail for Bowie

North Mississippi Allstars, don't know how popular they are in the States, but not many people here know about them. IMHO, they're great!
