Root underclock cpu question

i have UNrevoked my phone & am using setcpu.to underclock i have only preset underclocking levels.example lowest is 245mhz,then 384,460,499,576,etc.i want to set it to around 350 mhz.i have a stock rom.do i need to change that to get more customization in mhz?any recommendation or a better underclocker let me know thanks.

Not sure about the incredible, but with the evo the stock htc kernel doesn't really allow for too much changes with set cpu. You might want to look into another rom and then a custom kernel.
