Undo a Titanium Backup restore from xml?

Hi Guys,

Quick question - is there any way to reverse an xml restore of SMS/MMS messages done via Titanium Backup?

I've only lost the last couple of days messages, so no big deal, but would be nice to have them back.
And yes, I know I should have done a backup of my new messages before restoring the old ones, but hindsight is a wonderful thing... :stupid:

Sorry, but no, restoring will have overwritten the previous data (unless the message restore works differently from all other Ti restores).

I'd recommend SMS Backup+ - automatic backup of messages to your Gmail account, so if you accidentally do something like this you have a copy off the phone that you can restore.

Yep, I feared it would be something like that.
Just got a new phone and I did a SMS Backup+ a couple of days ago, but as it can't restore MMS I did a Titanium Backup from xml tonight.
As the SMS Backup+ doesn't overwrite all the existing data, just adds what is missing, I was thinking that Titanium Backup would do the same and didn't think to backup the last couple of days...
At least I'll know in future
