Uneven Screen?

This might be totally too nitpicky and confusing, but I noticed when I held up my phone to eye level, the left side of the screen seemed to be more "elevated" than the right side of the phone. Or in other words, the left plastic edge is more prominent that the right side; the right side seems to be almost even with the screen, while the left side is a bit higher than the screen. This is best seen when you look eye level at the top of the phone, you can see the screen on the right side with the camera pops a lot above the screen on the left side of the screen. I'm guessing this is because the right side has more thing packed underneath, but I was just wondering if this is part of the design?
