Root Unexpected power offs

Ever since I flashed the newest Anthrax kernel ky phone has been shutting off randomly, it usually happens when I have a couple of apps opened and say I try to make a call or open the stock sms app. It also turns off on most night so I wake up with a powered off phone. What could the issue be?

Just a pure example of why i don't use anthrax

It's a common problem with anthrax

If your want to overclock. Use JMZ Kernel

I'm not sure we can just write it off as a bad kernel. Some people don't like Chad, but his work is popular for a reason.

Personally, I'm using Dastin's CM10 and I get random reboots every now and then, but I think that's a problem with the rom, not Anthrax.

I got no beef with Chad. I just find his anthrax kernel is a bunch of hype. . Its not very stable

Give BT a shot if you feel the need to play with Kernels. I myself like to stick with what comes with the Rom itself, JMO

I'm mainly sticking to anthrax because I can't use a Rom without sweep 2 wake. Anthrax V3.4.3 is very stable and has never given me random reboots.

How long did it take you to establish that 3.4.3 specifically is stable? Haha. Maybe I'm just a fool, but I assumed since 3.7 has been the most recent for nearly a month, it's pretty stable.

Lol not long, it was switching to the release that came after. I did recently try 3.5.6 but started getting all kinds of freezing and reboots. Figured for now I'll stick to what I know works and down the line test a newer release.
*3.4.3 also overclocks to 1728 (not that you'd ever need it)
