Phone Model: HTC Desire 816 dual sim

Recently I rooted my phone to use 'freedom' app for games. Which was suppose to help me for up gradation. But unfortunately HTC has a very strong security check which is unbreakable due to this the app did not work. However the bad part is after the root my phone's camera quality declined. Before the camera used to focus in a certain point and give a clear shot. But now even after focusing photos are not that clear, the sharpness is missing and also photos are a bit grain now. Other than this everything is working fine.

Can anyone please help me with this? I just bought the phone about two months ago.

We can't help you with "freedom" - that is a piracy app, and so it's against Android Forums rules to discuss it or provide support.

Rooting should not affect the camera app in any way: all it does is enable superuser access. But if you are sure that the rooting has affected the camera software, rather than the lens cover being smeared or scratched, the obvious thing would be to use a ROM Update Utility to return the phone to completely stock software. RUUs check the "customer id", i.e. what network/region the phone was originally sold through, so you'd need to find the right one for your phone.

But check the settings of your camera app first, to make sure that you've not just changed the sharpening settings or set the ISO high, since either of those could produce the symptoms you describe (high ISO helps you capture an image in low light, but will increase noise in the image and reduce sharpness). If in doubt, try reverting all of the camera settings to their defaults and see whether that helps.
