Suddenly, my M8 started flashing message "Unfortunately, calendar has stopped" and locks the screen until I press "OK". Tried to uninstall HTC Calendar updates and reinstall the updates and cleared Cache Partition, but still get the message. Any thoughts as to what the problem is and how to correct? Thanks for the assist!

After I posted the initial message, calendar appeared to work normally and I did not get that message flashed across screen. Today the message "Unfortunately, calendar has stopped" returned. Any ideas what the problem might be??

Continue to periodically get message "Unfortunately calendar has stopped." Anyone have thoughts as to why, and what can be done about it???

I had a problem with my calendar recently where I was not able to get it. I set up a new calendar and synced it to the old one and that way I managed to get all my appointments and fixtures hope it works for you.

I still periodically get the message "Unfortunately Calendar Has Stopped" which appears when awakening the phone. Any ideas as to the problem and how to correct?

Have you upgraded to Marshmallow yet? You lose some stuff but I haven't seen that message since. Go to Settings > About > Software information to see if you're using Android 6.0.
