Help "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped working"

New S5 (Verizon). Everything works well, except when launching the stock camera app, I get "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped working".

I've cleared the camera cache and data, reboot, and still the same message.

I've installed Camera Zoom FX, which I prefer anyway, and the camera works as advertised with this app.

Still would like to know what is going on with the stock camera app though...any ideas? Thanks

My sister one time had that problem and she was able to fix it by uninstalling a specific flashlight app. Try to remember what app you installed before the problem started happening. Otherwise try uninstalling apps one by one and see if the problem gets fixed. Bad software can sometimes do that.

My phone has been doing that lately but it's not just one app it's different things. It will say unfortunately game of thrones acent has stoped, or plug in has, stopped or weather has, stoped. US this a virus? What, should I do?
