Help Unfortunately camera has stopped

Does anyone else have this problem?

I've just recently noticed that my zte awe can't record video past 30 seconds. It's very hit or miss after 30 seconds with it often crashing and saying that "Unfortunately, camera has stopped". The video file is then corrupted and useless. I've tried recording in 480p instead of 720p but it hasn't helped. I've also tried other camera apks and clearing the camera data, but they also haven't helped.

any ideas?

are u using stock ROM and have u tried to do a factory restore need more info uvrooted u on stock ROM? give as much info as u can so some one can help u better

I am on the stock kernel+rom, rooted, have cooldude's port of PhilZ Touch cwm, and running Xposed. I also did try to install rbheromax's UMS SD card mod thing, but it didn't work, although I doubt this messed up anything.

I haven't tried a factory restore, because I haven't got the time to do that currently.

I've had this issue since I rooted in December. Any help or links would be great. I've factory reset more than once in that time.

Update: I flashed the stock zip and re-rooted and it's been working fine so far.
