Root unfortunately gapps, others, stop running

Ever since rooting and installing cm10.1, I keep getting the "unfortunately gapps has stopped running" message. Same message for "settings" also.

Tried reflashing current gapps and fixing permissions in CWM. Problem still persists.

Any advice?

Are you freezing/uninstalling something? Does it start as soon as you reflash or after a while? Have you tried dirty flashing (just wipe cache and dalvik, not data) CM again?

For me in that situation I would just try a dirty flash as nokoko suggested and if that doesn't work I would start fresh. If you decide to start fresh I would recommend you try out elemental X. It's running great for more.

And check the MD5, maybe it's a bad download...?

Thanx for all the advice. Gonna check md5, then dirty flash, then try elemental X
