Help Unfortunately, print spooler has stopped

I have a Samsung Tab pro SM-T900 tablet. I use the HP print app. I had no problems printing until recently. Now when I try to print I get a message that says "Unfortunately, print spooler has stopped." Samsung could not help; said it was not the tablet. Also, HP could not resolve the problem. Hard to believe both companies would not know their products. Any idea's to fixing the problem?

Hmm, I've never printed anything from any of my Android devices so I can only give you a couple of shots in the dark:

1. I'm guessing you've rebooted your device already (obvious thing to try)

2. Have there been any recent updates to the HP printer app? Sometimes, there's an "UNINSTALL UPDATES" button in the Settings -> App -> appname page that might allow you to roll-back to a prior version.

3. You might check the Play Store for another compatible print app?

That's all I got...hopefully someone who has experience with printing or has encountered this issue before can suggest something.
