Help Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped

Please help!

I am now getting an error (Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped) that occurs repeatedly, one after the next, with barely enough time to tap the screen in between. I can navigate the phone (slowly tap by tap) and tried some web solutions (replacing the LTE apn settings, closing apps, etc) but they didn't seem to work.

If it makes a difference, I am rooted and have ADB on my PC. This may or may not make a difference, but I was looking around in the LG Service Menu (3845#*720#) for different LTE-only options. Please help me, I am fine with a reset if there is no other way, but I I want everything to be backed up (for free). I need help sooner than later because I need to be able to use my phone! Any help/tips would be appreciated!

I have the same issue but only when trying to access notification settings. I have changed literally nothing on my phone for the past month or so aside from app updates.

Fixed it myself by using the restore factory settings sticky on the all things root page on this forum, but now I have a different problem. I thought it would be most relevant on a new thread, so I linked it here...

The page I used to fix it is here:

Although I don't know if your problem requires an rom restore, try checking if there is a notification setting app which is causing issues and reinstall/delete it...
