Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone

I received an update request, download the update and ended up with problems. My HTC phone keep popping up "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" "OK"

After clicking OK the same message keep popping up. Any one know how to resolve this problem.

Hello there and welcome to the forums!!

Is your device rooted?

If not, I would try a simple facotry reset. If it is, reboot into revoery and wipe dalvik cache, cache, and fix permissions and you should be all set :D

No one knows exactly why this "error msg" keep popping up occasionally. However, some folks (including myself) believe it is caused by an installed application. Getting rid of this application usually fixes the problem.
