Unfortunately, the process com, Google, process, gapps has stopped.

I have a Galaxy note 10.1 GT-N8010 running Android version 4.1.2
Can anyone explain how to get rid of this problem or how it occurs, for the last few weeks I have had serious problems with the same problem many people seem to have had at some point. However it cannot be resolved by any of the following. In download manager, clearing the cache, clear data, disable and then re-enable the app or force stopping. The same applies to the Google play store app. And yes, I did uninstall updates, I have also reset app preferences and still no joy. And finally I have done several factory data resets, and still the same problem occurs. It can

Its no extra help you need to factory reset . or flash the stock image to get in if it Dont work a unbrick is your next thing to perform.

Now if you was rooted all you may would have needed was the correct gapps . sounds like you deleted the wrong system app.

Thanks for the advice but I did not want to root or unbrick the Tablet as it is still under warranty. I have now resolved the problem by creating a new Google account, on the same device. so it was not the fault of the device as it is now working fine. I think the fault was down to Google, it is really a joke that you can't contact anyone from the head of control freaks at mountain view.

Perhaps you're unfamiliar with the Google search engine?

One quick and easy search returns their phone number.

Fast, friendly and knowledgeable I've enjoyed terrific tech service.

Thanks for your response, however I live in the UK and when I use the toll free number in the UK the help is only if I want to buy a Nest device or with a Google device. Can I ask what is the geographical location of the number you posted. I tried the number as I get free calls to USA; however I then get a voice alert telling me it is not toll free as it is outside of the USA.
However the problem must have been account related. As I’m using another account on the same device without any problems.
