uninstall remove

If the AT&T Communication Manager came with your Thrive, you can only remove it if you are rooted or if you have updated to ICS. In ICS:
  1. Go to Settings->Apps. Tap "All" in the top tabs.
  2. Tap on the app you want to remove.
  3. The top-right button will either say "Uninstall" or "Remove".
  4. If you tap "Remove" and confirm, the app will not show-up in the app drawer and will not update. Supposedly the app will not automatically run, either, but I am not sure about this.
Apps that you have removed are listed at the bottom of the Settings->Apps->All screen and can be restored. Hope this helps.
