Root Uninstall stock recovery?

Anyone know how?

My power buttons sticking badly, and i need to get rid of stock recovery for replacement reasons. Manufacturers warranty will replace the phone, but i dont want them to know its rooted, or was rooted.

Thanks for any ideas.

Ics has a way of telling if your phone is/has been rooted thru stock recovery. If i can remove this then they cant tell.

Go into your stock recovery.
Look bottom left of screen.
0/0 means not rooted/ never been rooted.
1/1 means rooted.

There's more but you get the point.

Yeah. You cant do anything about that.

Doesn't matter, they won't do anything. I've seen people who have never rooted say their phone says 1/1 too, so i wouldn't put too much belief into that.

I've sent numerous phones back after unrooting them, no problems. They probably won't even look.

Damn. I didn't want to go that route.

Ok.

Kelmar good to see your still checking on us. Hows your new phone treating you?

Beautifully! I have a new found love for Android. You should check it out!!!

It's a hardware issue. No way that they can deny it or say that rooting caused it. You'll be fine. :)

Personally I'm waiting on the next best thing to come from Motorola before I switch.
Glad you like the change.

Ill post my experience of the return.

Thanks.

It's been a month now since I sent my old Razr back to moto, and they didn't say anything about it being rooted.

Thats a relief.

Thanks to all.
