uninstall updates and disable apps?

Since root is required to uninstall bloatware and various factory-intalled apps I don't want, and I don't have root, I went to the Play Store on the phone and uninstalled the updates for some of those apps.

I found a setting to turn off auto-update for all apps and just notify me when an update is available. I'm now at 7.03 GB available which is up from about 6.5 GB before I started uninstalling updates. Not as good as completely unintalling the unwanted apps, but it's a start.

I was at first going to try the "disable" app option, but that probably only hides the app.

This is a worthless phone. You can't move or save apps to an SD card and there are so many junk apps preloaded. Have uninstalled them but it puts another app in its place and doesn't give you more space.
