Help uninstalling 3rd party apps on htc tattoo

i had some apps on my htc tattoo that i installed to my htc through my computer (htc sync), but when i uninstalled them, i didnt have all of the memory i had before i installed it,

so is there another way to uninstall these apps so i can get back the memory i had before the installation??

apps sometimes leaves some cache and configuration data behind them, if i am not mistaken they are called delvik+cache (spellings may be wrong), it can be cleaned up in rooted devices. Seniors can guide you more.

Before i installed the apps through htc sync i had 150MB after uninstalling them i only have 145MB why is this. does any body know or experience the same kind of thing.

i have seen on the maket some apps to remove the same chek in the site but im not sure if u need root for the same look for apps uninstall
