Uninstalling Amazon and Others with Root access

I have heard about people uninstalling base apps like Amazon and Google talk with root access. I just can't figure it out.

I have bugless beauty installed .8.5 and just can't for the life of me figure out how people are doing this.

Thanks much.

Download root explorer from the market and you can delete anything you want, just be careful. You will need to go into /system/app and hit the button up top to make it r/w then you can long press to delete.

I would suggest renaming to whatever it was with ".bak" on it so you know what it was if something breaks.

You don't need to do that anymore unless your messing with Google apps that could cause problems if deleted. With SPRecovery and all the ROM's out there you can just flash a new one if you mess something up. Sorry but didn't you ask for help or something with this? Seems like you got it all figured out now.
