Help Uninstalling Cyanogen Mod 7

Hi all,

I put CM7 on my Desire ages ago, and since then I've formatted the computer which I used to do it, without sparing a moment to think about the software and backups that i'd need. So I don't know how to go about reverting to standard HTC sense.

I did spend time googling, but it kept coming up with stuff about the HTC Desire HD, which I didn't think would be of any use, and for several other types of phone, or with a slightly different issue.

I went and got HTC's 2.3 RUU hoping to just write that over, but I couldn't get the computer to discover it with HTC sync, so couldn't do that.

If anyone could help me remove CM7 and go back to a vanilla HTC sense UI or point me to the right places to start or for information I would be most grateful.

Oops, sorry everyone, I'm an idiot. The backups are stored on the phone, not on the computer, so I had nothing to worry about after all. It's been a few months since I did any phone tinkering, my brain had forgotten everything.
