Uninstalling Pre-installed Apps

Hi all, I have an Acer Iconia B1 which came preloaded with lots of preinstalled Google apps. These take up lots of memory that I would like to free. Is there a way to fully uninstall these without rooting my device?

To disable these apps is freeing the storage too. You might try it ... Settings, Apps, All, choose the apps.
Maybe you have to uninstall their updates before you're able to disable.
