I use a Samsung Galaxy S4. Some time ago I used an app called Free My Apps and this through this program I foolishly installed some apps on my phone. Afterwards I could not uninstall some of these installed apps through the Play Store nor the Application Manager. I also tried some apps that uninstalls apps, but it did not work. I had a problem that my WiFi kept turning on even though I manually turn it off and nothing I did fixed this annoyance, so I decided to perform a factory reset to my phone.

To my big surprise these apps that were installed trough Free my App that I could not uninstall, reappeared by default after factory resetting the phone! It seems like these apps have fooled the phone in thinking it's a preinstalled app that came with the phone and it reinstalls by default when factory resetting the phone!

Any idea how to get rid of these deceiving apps?

They're probably installed as system apps. Root the phone and use Titanium Backup to uninstall them.
