Universal text Search/App Widget

[opelikamike]

Is there an app or widget that will search my phone contents and all apps (internal and sd) for a text string. For example I may have a key word in a note in my contacts on my phone. Right now I can't find a way to search for it unless I'm missing something or it may be a work or number in a Note Everything note I have on my phone/sd card.

Google search doesn't apparently look through everything even if I have everything checked in the searchable items under phone under Serach in settings.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Mike in AL

You can't even do that on a windows computer, so I doubt you'd be able to do it in the phone.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you want to do.
