Hi,

I found this icon

in my tablet.

Here what appears if I tap on it.

I've never installed a such app, but I cannot find it in the apps list.

How could it have happened?

Here the list of adwaresthat AVL Pro Antivirus has found in the apps installed:

ADMOB

CHARBOOST

MOPUB

MILLENNIALMEDIA

ADCOLONY

MOBFOX

SMAATO

DAUM

What can I do?

Thanks in advance.

It looks like a standard carrier bloatware bundle - or - similar included by the tablet maker.

It's just a set of links sitting there acting as bait. Delete each one then delete the folder.

If these came after you bought the tablet and independently of any manufacturer updates, then you have a number of things to check -
  1. If you're getting apps from someplace besides the Play Store or Amazon, stop that, or make sure you have a good reason.
  2. If you're getting any apps or movies for free that you ought to be paying for - stop that. (I'm not accusing you of anything, that's just the usual source for a lot of this, so I have to mention it.)
  3. Get Addons Detector, see if you've let in any apps that are doing the wrong things.
That's how I'd start.

I know all these Ad Networks (ADMOB CHARTBOOST MOPUB MILLENNIALMEDIA ADCOLONY MOBFOX SMAATO) because I tried their SDK, but i don't know DAUM...so I think which the problem is DAUM
