Unknown error code during application install: "-110"

Hi there,

I have a 7 in galaxy tab that always throws the error "Unknown error code during application install '-110'" after downloading an application and attempting to install it.

As other posts have suggested, i have tried to clear the market cache and data. Have also done a factory reset on the the device, all of which was to no avail.

Any suggestions to fix this problem other than throwing it out the window?

Let me know if any other information is needed.

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles.

You still have market? It was updated to Play over a year ago and may be your problem. Try downloading the updated version from here (New Google Play Store 4.4 with slide-out navigation drawer now available [DOWNLOAD]) and see if it helps. Otherwise I'll ask some smarter people than me to take a look.

No, it is Google Play Store version 4.1.10. Sorry for the use of the wrong term. I just tried to install the apk from your link for Google Play Store 4.4 however any .apk's on the device attempt to go through Google Play Verify and Install which leads the Google Play Store to force close.

sorry to hi jack but I am having this exact problem on a brand new tab 3 7 in I purchased for my mum.

there is nothing in the cache or data files for the play market and I have tried factory re-sets. Any ideas?

I have same problem. Done everything including factory reset and had a long string of emails with google play at the end of which they said 'contact samsung'
Any help would be really appreciated!

I contacted Samsung and it was a major error in the memory.

Took it back to the shop and they exchanged. Samsung said if shop would not take it back then they would exchange it but it was close to xmas so I needed it done quickly. Samsung were very helpful!

I have a bit of a problem in that I purchased it in the UK and I live in Turkey. So I think I have to try and get in touch with Samsung HO.
Good to know I hadn't missed something really simple - I was going a bit crazy!
