Help Unknown reason - 18

Hello,

I am not very cell-phone savvy, and I apologize if this issue has been posted already, but half the applications I try to install don't work. They download successfully, but at the end of installation, I get the ! error message, which reads "Installation Error: Unknown reason - 18."

My phone model is the original Motorola Droid, and as far as I know I've gotten all the mandatory system updates. I'm missing out on tons of fun and handy apps because of this. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Read both threads fully before modifying your phone. It sounds like your phone might be rooted (your post didn't say). If it is and you don't know what being rooted means then I would suggest following up at some point here: Droid - All Things Root - Android Forums
