Unknown SMS app on Note 9

Hello. I have a note 9 and I have the standard Verizon Messaging app installed. There is also another app that duplicates the text messages. It is a black and Gray theme and I have no idea who's app it is so I can disable it. suggestions anyone?

No idea, that's the problem. It pops up with incoming messages, usually hours after the messages actually come in Via my primary Messaging app. Even when I use it to reply there is no indication whatsoever what the application name is. I can probably scare up a screenshot if that will help. Thank you

Alternativley, Settings>app>3 dots>default apps>Messaging app>set your choice.
