I wouldn't try it, it could lead to a hard brick.

I don't have the phone right now but I figured with the similarities between the two it might do the job at least to unlock the bootloader anyway. I have a Venice just not on me at the moment. But I may give it a try, I'm not using the phone anymore anyway I switched to Page plus.

My guess: His LG Venice turned into a paper weight.

Never tried, flashed phone to page plus

do not flash this, partitions from the optimus l7 differ from the venice you will end up with a brick.
