Help Unlock galaxy s6

How do I unlock my galaxy s6 without doing a factory reset and without losing current data?

Hi

If you mean you want to root the device, you cannot without a full reset and wipe.

If you mean to carrier (Sim) unlock it you do not need to do a reset. You do need an unlock code:

Turn off the phone
Put a new (currently unsupported) SIM in the slot
Restart the phone and enter the code when requested.

My situation is this. After android ran the new software update, my fingerprint scan was disabled and had to use back-up password. But backup didn't work. So, now I'm locked out of my phone(s6) and I don't want to do a factory reset because I would lose all my data, text, and pictures. I didn't create a Samsung account, I don't have my location(gps) turned on to detect it via google account to reset password. Do you have any other answers? Note: S6 is enclosed and can't open to insert SIM and not trying to root phone.
