I have changed phones with the same service provider, and therefore kept the same sim card.
I want to give the old phone to a friend who may not want the same service provider. I researched 'unlocking' and it strikes me that there may be 2 'unlocks': the phone itself, and the sim card.
QUERY - are there in fact 2 unlocks? I only want to unlock the old phone (Samsung Galaxy Q on Fido in Canada).
