Help Unlocked Inspire 4G

OK I unlocked my inspire, root and everything. And I do not want to get a regular plan with AT&T. I have a go phone sim card(which worked on my iphone 3gs) And my htc mytouch 3g(old I know) But when I insert it into my inspre it says limited service or no service at all.And I know that card works.. Will there be any reason why it wouldn't work.
 
They have recently changed up their prepaid options. For smartphones the data plan prices are a bit extreme. And by "bit" I mean they are outrageous. That could be part of your problem.
