Unlocked Rogers Moto X on Telus

I also posted this in the Telus forum in case this was not the place for the question. Sorry for the double dip...

Does anyone know if the Rogers Moto X will work on the Telus network with LTE if it is SIM unlocked?

If not, how many versions of the X are there and which one should I buy to unlock for Telus LTE?

FYI for those who are interested...

I just called Motorola Canada and they tell me that SIM unlocking voids warranty? WTF?

Anyhow it would seem that the Rogers Moto X has 2100 and 2600 LTE bands, but Telus uses 1700. This means it would only be HSPA+, which is still fast, but not LTE.

The T-Mobile Web site shows the Moto X with LTE bands as follows "4G LTE (Bands 2, 4, 17)"

Looks like the TMo version is like all other TMo phones, the same specs as Telus network requires (ie Samsung Galaxy S2 = same phone for both).
