Help Unlocking

I have a i5801 locked to Orange at the moment, but wanting to unlock it as contract comes up soon. Do I need to root the phone to do this, or is it simpler?

Any help would be appreciated

I believe you would need an unlocking code from their an unlocking service (online) or from your mobile provider.
