Root Unofficial CM10.2 for Nexus 7

im with you! i really want to try this out and i really want to be on 4.3 but i dont feel like redownloading my apps and re setting up my tablet lol

I'm sitting pretty with stock rooted 4.3 on the nex7 at the moment

Thanks for the heads up though!

So I finally got enough courage to flash this this morning. I gotta say it seems so far to work pretty well.

Automatic TRIM support should be built into 4.3, but that app has supported it on older roms for some time. I've been using it on most of my devices (everything except my Touchpads) for several months now.

Flashed through TWRP 6.1.0 with multirom. Flashed gapps. First boot I received Google apps has stopped error. Then I flashed the 1st run of 4.3 gapps. Same error. Grabbed apk's for all Google apps attempted to install the apk's some installed fine some failed immediately. Went to stock 4.3 rom and did a titanium backup. Went back to Cm 10.2 attempted to restore apps with and without data both times all Google apps failed the restore. I am not asking for help because this is an unofficial release. Just wanted to pass along my experiences.

cyanogenmod has made CM10.2 an official nightly as of today (8-17-13) just go into the cm updater and download and flash CM10.2 :) only thing is my wifi doesnt want to authenticate now :( my internet works but i cant get on the play store and my wifi icon is gray instead of blue :( hopefully they will fix this tomorrow (if it isnt something i did lol)

Working on my end

i found my problem :)
Also, make sure to install the latest gapps (gapps-jb-20130813-signed), or wifi goes wonky for some reason. Once that's installed, it seems to clear up whatever the issue was.
that was taken from cyanogenmod forums. after i flashed the latest gapps a few of my apps forced closed (g+, keep, youtube, nfl mobile, etc) and i had to uninstall and reinstall from the play store.
