Unofficial CM10 with Working Camera

I saw that. If it was merged with the next preview, I might play with it, but a front-facing camera isn't something I currently need.

I can't get CM10 to run.I did the usual,deleted UImage.cyanogen,backup,wipe,clear cache/delvik.Flashed the zip,bootup, and didn't see the Cyanogen bootup option

They recommend using the acme3 installer (after running acmeuninstaller to fix the file corruption).

What I did....
created a backup in recovery and TIBU.
ran acme3 without any files in cminstall to clean up the file corruption.
booted into android to make sure everything was ok.
ran acme3 a second time to make sure file system was ok.
copied cm10 and gapps to cminstall and ran acme3
found out gapps didn't install so installed them from TWRP.

Acme is how you got HP on their in the first place. :D

Here's a guide to install anything. Preview 5 (Dec 4 build) would be the latest and adds camera, but you'd need to install a patch to update the camera. Camera still has issues so I haven't bothered with it yet and am still on P3.

How to install jcsullins CyanogenMod10 Preview 5 with Sound & Camera, Updated 12/5/2012 - HP Touchpad - RootzWiki

CM10 is recommended for advanced installers (although I haven't had any issues with it), there is a chance it could have issues.
